Tao
WHAT IS TAO?
The word Tao means the way or the path that leads one towards an awareness of his or her true nature and thus to immortality.
The Tao philosophy allows us to discover certain truths about the Universe. Its teachings open doors to the infinitely large as well as to the infinitely small.
Ancient Taoist Masters knew that different stages of immortality could be attained through transformation processes (internal alchemy). They clearly knew the secrets of physical longevity.
More than 2,000 years ago in China, a man called Lao Tseu wrote a book entitled the Tao Te King. His teachings have been transmitted over the centuries and continue to be so to this very day.
Mantak Chia brought the teachings of Taoism to the West, thereby making available the knowledge that had previously only been transmitted from master to student. To learn more about him, consult the following web sites:

THE TEACHINGS OF THE TAO 1
(Inner Smile + Healing Sounds + Microcosmic Orbit)
This seminar is an introduction to the Tao and teaches the following meditations :
- The Inner Smile (first day)
- The Healing Sounds (first day)
- The Microcosmic Orbit (second day).
The meditation practice of the Inner Smile allows us to get in touch with our body and its component parts. It leads to the smiling of our internal organs (heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidneys...), our digestive system, our nervous system and our sensory organs. The primary goal is to transform heavy, burdensome emotions, such as sadness, fear, guilt and anger, into more suble energies that alleviate tensions and increase the vibrations of joy within ourselves.
The Healing Sounds take us on a journey inside the human body. This allows us to transform heavy emotions, and alos establishes a better connection to virtues such as courage, compassion, kindness and serenity. The great Taoist sages discovered that each internal organ has a coresponding sound. The vibrations created by thes sounds result in a more profound sense of vitality and well-being.
The meditation of the Microcosmic Orbit teaches us to open different energetic points in order to activate, balance and purify all forms of energy. This circulation method is the basis of Chi Kung, of Tai Chi and of Healing Love practices.
This seminar also explores the history of the Tao and provides a brief description of other associated teachings (Chi Kung, Tai Chi, etc.)

Much like Tantrism, the Tao considers mastery of sexual energy and the conservation of sperm as a necessary step in order to attain a higher vibratory frequency.
The practice of Tao searches for the eternal balance between Yang and Yin, Man and Woman, spirit and matter, Sky and Earth.
This course teaches how to transform sexual energy into more subte energy, as well as how to redistribute it to our organs and glands, in order to invigorate the vital functions of our body. This practice also helps to nourish our higher self (Shen).
